Interview with Black Silver: 9/8/08 Ultrakeith.net: Here is a short edit of ultrakeith and Black Silver Interview Ultrakeith.net: Hey Silver, Its UltraKeith Silver: Whats going down man? Ultrakeith.net: Not Much Silver: How is everything?? Ultrakeith.net: Good, Yourself? Silver: Im Busy, working hard. Ultrakeith.net: So tell me about Black Ice, Whens that due on CD? Silver: Yeah me and IceT. Its gonna be released at the end of September, I dont have the exact date, EMI just bought the album from my investors, its gonna be in the next month and a half. Ultrakeith.net: Whats up with Hardcore Intellect is that still coming out? Silver: Activate and Sony just picked up that project, It was originally independent, but they picked it up and gonna co-market it with EMI for the relase of the Black Ice project and rerelease the Hardcore Intellect project. Ultrakeith.net: And the Lost Tapes, is that still coming out? Silver: The Lost Tapes? Not really, Thats kinda like something we gave out on the road, Its just a bunch of songs from the Analog Brothers that we did not use and some songs from Black Elvis that we didnt use, It was from a bunch of projects with songs that nobody ever used, we just put it all on 1 album, So we would throw it away at shows. Ultrakeith.net: Are we ever gonna hear any of the Kool Keith album The Jackalz? Is That ever gonna come out? Silver: Yeah, but its not the jackalz anymore, Keith might do the jackalz on his own i dont know but we do have a different project called Concrete Babies. Ultrakeith.net: Ahh ok, thats what it is, i remember you mentioning something in the email. Silver: Yeah Yeah Ultrakeith.net: What can you tell me about that? Silver: Lets just say there are alot of underground heavyweights involved in that project Ultrakeith.net: Is it gonna take long to come out? Silver: Um no, Actuall Keith is in Atlanta right now recording it, Prince Poetry and Aceyalone are in Los Angels doing tracks for it, Its going to be a really, really big album Ultrakeith.net: Cool Silver: We doing stuff all the time, Marc Live are also re-doing the Live Black project, thats me and Marc Live, theres a buch of stuff about to drop, a bunch of stuff Ultrakeith.net: So are you going on tour with IceT, any Black Ice tours? Silver: Yeah we been doing alot of spot dates, We did L.A we did Los Vegas we doing chicago next week, then 2 weeks after that we go to Germany, we doing alot of spot dates now, but the really big tour doesnt start untill we sign the paper work with EMI.? Ultrakeith.net: So have i left any projects out, anything else you working on? Silver: Oh , I think you pretty much got the whole load there, Hardcore Intellect, My new ulbum Undeniable is almost done.. Ultrakeith.net: Yeah, Thats taking ages, Why has it taken so long for those albums to come out? Silver: Well basicly because , those were completed projects but the investors at the end of the day were full of shit! , we had to back off and regroup and uknow come equipped. Right Now everything is being released and everything has marketing behind it now.
